Home Visits
We prefer to see you in the surgery where we have better facilities, diagnostic aids and lighting to assess you. If, however you are housebound and / or terminally ill then a request for a home visit should be made, by phoning 01992 465555, before 10:00am if possible.
When requesting a home visit please give a brief explanation of your problem and your telephone number to the receptionist as it will help the doctor to assess the urgency of the situation. The doctor may contact you to discuss a home visit or other appropriate medical treatment.
The doctor can usually see five patients at the practice in the time it takes to do one home visit. Please help us by only requesting a home visit if it is really necessary.
