Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- phone us on 01992 465555 or visit us between 10am to 5pm and we will tell you what the results are
It takes approximately 1 to 21 working days for results to get from the hospital to us (depending on the type of test). Information will only be given to patients (aged 16 and over) unless we have written authority to give test results to another person.
Your GP will only contact you if your results require further action/investigation.
Results for tests requested by specialists at hospitals do-not come back to the surgery. Please contact your specialist for the results.
